Ah, well; The iwin wmu

have snow. Everything else we
got, but no snow. This is really
Mad March I guess, wild winds,
intervals of sun tan weather, and
all the dust you can eat. Thats
O.K. though, variety is the spice
of life, and all too soon, it will
be too hot.
Besides weather, wo have some
new residents in Bonham Acres,
and they are the William Fisher
family from Bay City, Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Fisher and their
children, Mary Francis, 3, Arm
5 months, and two-year-old Bil

Six little guys and gals had a
happy birthday Easter egg hunt
last Saturday to help celebrate
the birthday of nephew, Ilirky
Brock. Ricky, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harold A. Brock, was three,
years old and had a party, com-
plete with bunny cake, chocolate
eggs and oodles of ice cream.
Many happy returns of the day,
Rick.
LARKWOOD
Larkwood Garden Club mem-
bers spent a busy day Saturday
planting Oleanders on either
side of the entrance street to
the addition. The plants look
very nice and will be a pleasure
to all who enter the area from
now on.
ROBINDELL
It is Happy birthday this week
to Miss Valerie Hatter, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Hatter of
1617 Robindell. Valerie will be
two years old on March 25 and
we wish lots of happiness.
In the older bracket we have
Mike Dean, who will be a great
big three years old on March 27
Michael Is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Dean, of 6124 Bird-
wood.
Get well cards go out this
week to Suzanne Stansburg of
6221 Birdwood who is down with
measles, also we hope that De-
borah Darnelle, who lives at
6217 Birdwood will soon be up
and around after being sick.
Young Andy Gould had a big
thrill recently when he went
out for his first horseback ride.
This was no Shetland pony —
THIS was a real full size horse
—and he liked it.
The Bouquettes Garden Club
of Robindell met on Tuesday,
March 18 in the home of Mrs.
Frank Haines at 1609 Bob
White Drive; the co-hostess was
Mrs. Alfus Johnson. Mrs. John
Craig, chairman of the projects
committee, announced that the
April project for the club would
be the making of twenty six
floral arrangements, which will
be sent to the patients of M. D.
Anderson Hospital.
Mrs. C. C. Rackley, and Mrs.
D. Mabry were welcomed as
new members of the Bouquettes
and Mrs. Milo Abercrombie, the
social chairman, announced lhat
the installation luncheon will be
held at the Braeburn Country
Club on May 20.
The speaker at the meeting
was Mrs. C. J. Clemons, who
spoke on “Azaleas and Camel-
lias.” The next meeting of the
club will be on April 22 when
the new officers will be elected.
We want to welcome to Ro-
bindell Mr. and Mrs. Calvin C.
Coe and their children, Carlton,
and Michael, 9. The Coes
are the new owners of 6111
Birdwood and we want to say
“Hello, we’re glad to have you.
And last but not least, we
have one very unhappy resident
who has two shoes—from two
different pairs. The others were
taken by a roving dog which
visited her garage and took them
home—she hopes. Of course she
would not be looking for the
shoes if the owner of the dog
had kept him home; where cer-
tainly, we all agree he (or she)
belongs. Anyway, the moral is,
put up the pooch, and we’ll all
happy.
BRAEBURN TERRACE
The Braeburn Terrace Book
Club members were theatre-
goers last Thursday night when
they attended a performance of
“Tea and Sympathy” at the
Playhouse. Five couples had a
fine evening out and will re-
sume the regular schedule this
week when they will meet in
the homeof Mr. and Mrs. N. B.
Ramsey at 6014 Cypress. The
meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
and the speaker will be Miss
Iva Mae Purtee, whose topic

nite."
