p.m. Sunday.

McKechnie, soprano; Mrs. Paul

On Sunday, December 20, at
6:30 p.m.. the children of the

Christinas program, “O Holy
Night”.

St. Thomas
The program for St. Thomas
Episcopal Church on December
20, is a special program symbolic
of the theme of Advent. It will
be divided into two parts repre-
sentative of the first and second
coming of Christ.
There will be nine scripture
readings by lay readers of the
church and musical solos by
members of the Adult Choir.
Lay reads include: Dr. William
Mathews, Dr. Don Streeter,
Wright Guthrie, C. B. Keever,
Julius Reynolds, Robert Kelly,
Alton Carroll, C. A. Logan, Dr.
Richard Graves.
Choir soloists include: Dr. and
Mrs. H. Newall Taylor, Mrs. E. E.
Reppond, Suzanne Robishaw,
Mrs. Robert Kelly, Mrs. Sam
Rogers, Mrs. William Mathews.
Selections will be from The
Messiah and Medieval carols.
The Rev. Thad Harris will be
in charge of the service.
St. John Presbyterian
St. John Presbyterian, 5120
West Belfort, will hold a Christ-
mas service Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. A
Christmas pageant under the
direction of Miss Dorothy Es-
chenbrcnner, 4716 Beilaire Blvd.,
Christian education director, will
be presented with Mr. and Mrs.
Roy Williams Jr., 4837 Kinglet
and their three children portray-
ing a typical Christian family.
As the Christmas story is read
to David, Wanda and Virginia
Williams by their parents it will
be acted out by the shepherds,
wise men and Holy Family.
Each department o! the church
will participate in the proces-
sional and the singing of tra-
ditional hymns.
WM Baptist
The cantata, “The Night of
Miracles,” by John W. Peterson
will be presented at 7 p.m. Sun-
day at Willow Meadows Baptist
Church by the Adult Choir.
Soloists will be Hugh Hardy,
bass; Dr. Clyde Parrish, bari-
tone: Charles Wilson, tenor; Mrs.
Lee Moore, soprano. Mrs. Paul
Martin will be at the piano and
Mrs. A. M. Westbrook at the
organ. The choir is under the
