Miss Harryette DeLaRue
Brock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs
Harold A, Brock, 4501 Birch
has received a scholarship to
Texas Lutheran College in Se-
quin where she will study ele-
mentary education. Harryette
graduated magna cum laude from
Bellaire High School at mid-
term. She was the only member
of the National Honor Society in
the graduating class and was
runner-up for Outstanding Sen-
ior Award. Harryette was first
chair flutist Id'r the Bellaire Or-
chestra and gold medal contest
winner in the trio section. She
has been director of the Junior
Choir at Faith American
Lutheran Church.

Hot LineTelevision Service Inc.,
a television repair company spec-
ializing in 24-hour pick-up and
delivery of color TV receivers,
has begun operations from its
2100 square foot headquarters
building at 5716 Southwest Free-
way.
Norman W. Denlinger, who
formerly headed operating and en-
gineering work for Crosley tele-
vision broadcasting facilities in
Ohio, has been named president
of the firm which is a wholly-
owned subsidiary of Approved
Appliances, Inc. The announce-
ment was made by Jack v. Hayes
president of the parent company.
Denlinger, who came here from
Bakersfield, Calif., where he was
engineering supervisor forKLYD-
TV and radio stations, formerly
was director of television service
for General Electric distributors
in Ohio and is an honor graduate
of the Navy’s electronics school
at San Diego.
“With 30,000 color TV sets
now in operation in the Houston
area, and a growth rate of 30,000
more predicted by the industry
for 1965, dependable and fairly-
priced maintenance service is in
increasing demand,’’ Denlinger
said.
In addition to the Southwest Free
way headquarters, where the most
modem test and repair equipment
is being installed, the firm is plan-
ning service sub-stations in other
