Blake’s Flashy Rush in Closing Play;

Heads G. 0. P.
It was a happy day for Shamrock when Herbert Blake,
hard playing little fullback, lunged three yards for a touch-
down in the last six seconds of play to tnlley the final score
which beat Estelline 12 to 6 here Friday afternoon. It was
Blake's crowning reward for an afternoon of stellar foot-
ball. There wasn't a play but what the little barkfiolder
figured an important part—even the men he tackled so
hard admired his brand of playing.
It was a surprised bunch of Irishmen who failed in their
first attempt to make downs through Kstelline's line. The
visitors were more than had been expected. After a failure
make yardage Shamrock called for a punt only to have
It blocked by Curtiss. Estelline halfback. Estelline was
qually unsuccessful in its first attempt to gain, for after
hree downs a punt was called but a fumble and fast Sham-
•ock players kept the ball from getting in the air.
