family. , .
If you have only half the insurance you need, and your
home were destroyed by fire, windstorm, or other peril . . .
you could rebuild only half a house.

I attended a real fine meeting in
.Wheeler on December 21. It was a
I tri-county Farm Bureau meeting
with the presidents and board
members of Farm Bureaus in
Wheeler, Collingsworth and Hemp-
hill Counties attending.
Discussed was the program that
the state and national Farm Bu-
reaus will be sponsoring and back-
ing during the coming year. Their
new programs will be both con-
structive and beneficial for the
farmers and ranchers In our local,
area, state and nation.
Growing Town
It Is becoming more apparent
that the people of Shamrock are
interested in making the town grow.
We are hoping to see their dreams,
thoughts and desires come true in
the near future.
There is yet a lot ot work to be
done in Order for this to happen, but
our citizbns are realizing this fact
and are falling into place on the
team to do their share of the work.
Some of our older citizens seem
to think that they have fulfilled
their obligation to the town by just
living here and running their own
business. They do not apparently
realize what the town has done
for them. Also, our obligation is
not actually fulfilled until God says
‘•It is done,” and calls us to our
reward.
’ What is our moral obligation to
our friends and neighbors? Is it
only to look after ourselves, or Is
it to help those around us by be-
ing a better Christian, citizen and
neighbor?
Don't be one who says, “I have
done my part, let someone else do
the job now." Rather, let everyone
say and do this: “I have this job
completed; now what else canl do
to help?”
