Two Circles of the WSCS of the
First Methodist Church met this
week. Hostesses served refreshments
to each group.
Circle Two met Monday after-
noon in the home of Mrs. Tom
Clay.
Mrs. M. E. Risk presided over the
business session. Mrs. H. B. Hill led
the opening prayer.
The devotional was given by Mrs.
M E. Risk. The lesson from "Tliese
Churches Glorious" was taught by
Mrs. E. H. Mosteller.
A special guest was Mrs. Vera
Btewns of Phoenix, Aria, with the

solo part played by Melissa Sherrod.

was played by Carol Sanders.

During the next two weeks, bonded representatives of
Curtis Circulation Company will call on area residents
selling magazine subscriptions. Each of these agents
will carry a letter of identification from the
SHAMROCK AMERICAN LEGION.
The commission on these magazine subscriptions will
be paid by Curtis to the Shamrock American Lection
and will be added to the NURSES TRAINING FUND.
At present three local girls are attending nursing school
on these scholarships.
The Shamrock American Legion and the 40 & 8
