A firemen’s training course will be
held in Shamrock, Abe Glasgow,
chief of the Volunteer Fire Depart-
ment, announced Wednesday. £
The course will be conducted by
L. O. (Doc) Bynum, field instructor
of the Industrial Extension Service
of Texas A. & M. College.
Classes will be held Tuesday night
of each week for four consecutive
weeks, starting October 30. Sessions
will be held at the fire station,
starting at 7:30 p.m., and all mem-
bers of the department are requested
to attend.
Various methods of fire flghtj|
will be studied duing the course, and
firemen who attend will be given
credit on their records for monthly
drills.
Bynum will teach a course at
Wheeler during the same time, hold-
ing classes on a different night
each week. He has recently con-
ducted courses in Pampa, McLean,
Canadian and Dalhart.
