Shamrock Independent basket-
ball team defeated Quail, 64-39, in
a non-league game played here
Saturday night.
The local club was defeated Mon-
day night in Pampa, 83-80 by
Hoover Oil Company. Tiie defeat
dropped the Shamrock team from
third to fourth place in the league

maining on their schedule.

Pampa tonight (Thursday), ending

Basketball Games
Kelton b ska’bill teams were
host to teams from Briscoe last
Friday night. Kelton boys defeated
Bri'c e, 58-45, and Briscoe girls
nutscored Kelton, 55-45.
In the boys game, Burrell was
high point player for Kelton with
30; Helton and Waters tied for
high point honors for Briscoe with
15 points each.
Motes was high for Kelton in
the girls game with 26 points. Meek
was Briscoe’s high scorer with 23
points.
