The Methodist Sunday School
members gave a party Friday
night at the community center
for the young folks In Mrs.
Huckabee’s class. Games and sing-
ing made up the evenings enter-
tainment. Home made Ice cream
and cake were served to mem-
bers and visitors, the Pastor, Rev.
Howard Johnson and family, Ste-
phenvtlle. Misses Anita Mayflald
and Barbara Randalls, Hico and
Billy Warren Carter, Lsandera.

fell here Saturday afternoon.

chased the Mrs. Ara Denman
place and la remodeling and plan

Clayton Keller
Mrs. George Keller was honor-
ed wltb a luncheon Monday, June
28, by her daughter-in-law, Mrs.
Clayton Keller, at her home on
West Clinton. The occasion was
the 80th birthday anniversary of
Mn. Kaller.
Mn. Keller wae born June 23.
1871, in Marlin and lived In that
cake, which was flanked by

his bride to Dublin and she bae
made her home here since that
time.
The Clayton Keller borne was
attractively decorated with a pro-
fusion of early summer blossoms
placed at vantage points through-
out. tha reception suit. Adorning
the matel in the living room was
an arrangement of daisies. In
tha dining room the large table
was centered by pink carnations, a
gift to the honoree from Mrs. Sam
Mn.
The centerpiece on tha smaller
table was of dwarf itnntas. The
center of Interest In the dining
room was the buffet holding the
beautifully decorated pink blrth-
"I have driven over a lot of
coantry during the past few weeks
and Dublin looks like the beat
spot on earth to me," Noel Han-
cock, new operator of the Sunset
Service Station said as he drove
back into town a few days ago.
Hancock, lor many years an
automobile fwchanlc. had left a
few weeks earlier looking for
"greener pastures" He found
other green pastures, but deckled
none were greener then those here
At home.
He assumed management of the
Sunset Service Station this week,
where he will serve his customer*
with Firestone Tires and other
products, Tucaco oil. gasoline and
lubricant* and minor auto repair*
and adjustment*. .
Tha station maintains a com-
plete and modem auto and truck
washing and lubrication depart-
ment and will carry a stock of
auto accessories.
Mr*. Nathan 8l*gel and daugh-
ter, Jan returned to their home
here last Wednesday after spend-
ing several day* In New York
where they attended the wedding
of a relative
Mre. Margaret Co*,.Mr*. Helen
Reed and Mr* Pansy tocke were
la Brownwood recently where
they attended a hair styling clink
held at Hotel Brownwood. Mrs.
Co* Stated that the lateat methods
In hsilr cnttlng were taught.

Burkhardt and daughter, Paula,
spent several days last week In
Dallas with relatives and while
there attended ordination •

tion with her parents. Mr. and
Mn. Harley Jones.
