Subsidy for YAD participants in
2009 Community Mission to Israel
The Jewish Federation of
Greater Houston’s Connection
2009 Community Mission to Israel
is providing a bus strictly for the
Young Adults Division at a special
subsidized price to make this unique
journey affordable for Houston’s
young leaders. The price includes
round-trip airfare from Houston to
Tel Aviv, deluxe accommodations in
five-star hotels and most meals and
gratuities.
During the 10-day trip from Feb. 22
to March 3, 2009, participants will get
to partake in special programming for
young professionals, exciting tours,
briefings from high-ranking Israeli
officials and top level guides. An indi-
vidual $365 commitment to the 2009
United Jewish Campaign is asked.
There is a limited number of
spaces on the Connection 2009
Mission to Israel YAD bus. “This will
be an amazing opportunity to recon-
nect to your Jewish roots and learn
how our Federation helps those in
Israel,” said YAD Mission recruitment
chair Stacy Soefer. “It will also be a
ton of fun because well have our own
bus and exciting events geared for
our group that will be more active,
social and educational.”
