TRAVIS C, COOK
Very few Texas towns are on coun-
ty lines, doing business in two coun-
ties; but where one is, it is a good
one, if it gets a start, and it doesn’t
take much to start it. Mine is on the
dividing line between two big popu-
lous East Texas counties, 18 miles
to small cities in each, 18 miles to
the Trinity River west, and same dis-
tance to the Neches River east. It is
also on the Mo. Pacific trunk-line
railroad, and a great national paved
highway. It has, for a start, three
small stores, each with nothing but
a shirt-tail partly filled with grocer-
ies. We need a general store. It
need not be a large one to start. It
will grow fast.’ There is a good deal
of oil money in the wide trade terri-
tory, and prospect for more. For
further information that will cause
you to jump and see about it, write
It. R. CLARIDGE, Salmon, Anderson
County, Texas. 8t.
