Announcement was made this
week of the marriage Sunday eve-
ning of Miss Geneva Russell and
Mr. Charles W. Lummus, at Elk
City, Okla. The ceremony was per-
formed by the Baptist pastor of
Elk City.
The bride was dressed in blue
erepe with a coat of gray and
matching accessories.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Lummus are
well known here and have many
friends In this territory. Mrs. Lum-
mus has taught school at Pagan
the past three years. Her parents
live at Sanger, where her lather is
the Baptist minister. She received
her schooling at C. I. A. at Dgnton,
where she lacks only one term be-
fore receiving her degree.
Mr. Lummus is the son of Mr
and Mrs. J. J. Lummus at this
city. He attended the local schools
and is a graduate of Shamrock
high school with the class of 1827.
He also graduated from Wayland
College at Platnview.
The couple will make their home
here.

At Wheeler Home
Mrs. John H. Lewis entertained
the girls of the senior class of the
high school and members qf the 8.
and P. Club last Saturday after-
noon at her home In Wheeler, hon-

the senior class.
Games of bridge and "4>M furb-
ished the entertainment tor the
afternoon. A color scheme of green
and white was attractively carried
out. High score in the bridge games
went to Mrs. Bronson Green of
Wheeler, while high in "42“ went
to Mrs. Ted Bones of Wheeler.
The honorees were presented with
lovely gifts. A delicious ioe course
carrying out the green and white
school colors was served to the

Home Cruft Meeting
Mrs. J. E. Reeves was hostess to
the Home Craft Club Thursday af-
ternoon. An Interesting program
on music was under the leadership

ing parts, "Interesting Facts About
