The program for yesterday’s ses-
sions was followed as scheduled In
a previous Issue, with Roscoe Tres-

gue President Durphey of Welling-
ton.
The young people met Saturday
evening about S o'clock and were
registered and assigned to homes
In the city. They then gathered
again for supper at the church at

present. Supt. Farrar of Welling-
ton spoke at the Sunday school
hour, giving a very inspirational
message In connection with the
theme of the meeting, stressing the

Jameson spoke on "The Character
and Work of the Prepared Man,"
Rev. J. R. Bright held the conse-
cration service on "What It Means
to Be a Christian.”
Visitors stated the meeting this
week-end was one of the best dis-
trict sessions ever held. Around 75
out-of-town vistors were here for
Sunday.
“The Young People's department
wishes to thank the women who en-
tertained the visitors In their homes,
also the hotels and cafes which co-
operated with us In making the
meeting a success. We also thank
the mothers who served the supper
and those of the committee who
helped in registering and placing
the young people," states Mrs. C. E
Jameson, director of the local de-
partment.

SAFE ... SURE ... AUTOMATIC
Modern Electric Cookery is safe because there are no flames, fumes,
smoke or odors to endanger ones health. These facts also do away with
the drudgery of scouring pots and pans, as the flameless heat of elec-
tric cookery is dean.
Electric cookery produces consistently better results with less time
and effort. It retains the precious vitamins of food, as they are not boiled
away or poured down the sink.
The automatic features of electric cookery releases time for other
duties or leisure. You can prepare an entire meal, place it on the range,
and leave it entirely. This one feature alone makes your investment in v
an electric range pay you dividends in time and energy. A:
