taking of breakfast «t the home of
the groom’s mother, Mrs. Mary
Anna Groff, the young couple left
on a trip to San,Antonio and New
Braunfels. We join in wishing them
a long, happy and prosperous mar-
ried life.

DIED.
Esther, the youngest daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Bippert of Rio-
medinn, died at her home after a
short illness, Thursday afternoon,
November 19, 1925, and was laid
to rest at St Louis Catholic Ceme-
tery on Friday afternoon, Rev.
Father Heckman performing the
last sad rites. The departed leaves
her parents, one brother and two
sisters and a very large number of
other near and dear relatives to
mourn her untimely demise. A
large concourse of mourning rela-
tives and frieuids escorted the mortal
remains to their last resting place.
We sincerely join this entire com-
munity in sympathy with the bereav-
ed and griefstricken ones. R. I. P.

A wedding took place Tueday
morning, November 24, at 7:30 o’-
clock when Miss Elenora Haby be-
came the happy bride of Mr. Elbert
Watson. The ceremony was perform-
ed by Rev. A. Heckman at St Louis
Rectory The bride is the only daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Haby of
Dunlay, while the groom is the
youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Watson of Biry. After the cere-
mony the happy couple left for a
honeymoon trip to San Antonio,
New Braunfels, San Marcos, and
other points. After November 30
they will be at home near Biry.
