Mr. Glen Morrison Boudr-
eaux, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank M. Boudreaux, also
of Houston, on February 2,
1974 In a double - ring, ca-
ndlelight ceremony at Bella-
ire Presbyterian Church. D-
r. David A. Still and Fa-
ther Donald G. Bahllnger,
S.J. performed the service.
The wedding gown, hand-
fashioned by the bride’s m-
other, consisted of a fitted
bodice covered with Chan-
tilly lace with a scooped
neckline, accented by a VI-
ctorian-stlyled. stand up c-
ollar which rolled forward to
points at the shoulders. The
long, lace, fitted sleeves ta-
pered to below the wrist.
The full skirt of candleli-
ght pois de sol was covered
by the cathedral-length taain
which was gently ornamented
with lace medallions and sc-
alloped edging.
The bride’s sister, Mrs.
G. R. Hehn of Denton, wass
the organist for the cere-
mony, Mrs. Wm. C. Cham-
berlain, of College Station,
sister of the bride, was ma-
tron of honor. The bride’s
cousin, Miss Joan Maire Mc-
Laren of Oceanside, Calif,,
the groom's sister, Miss M-
ary Katherine Boudreaux of
Houston and Mrs. P. C. Vo-
llmar of Woburn Mass, were
bridesmaids. The flower g-
irl was the groom’s niece.
Miss Caml Lynette Christ
of Houston. The girls wore
gowns of hot pink tatami
crepe, fashioned withanem-
pire waistline, short puff sl-
eeves and a matching ribbon
belt. They carried cascades
of varigated shades of pink
carnations with English Ivy.
The groom’s father, Mr.
Frank M. Boudreaux attened
as the best man. Other gr-
oomsmen were the groom’s
brothers, Mr. F. Gary Bo-
udreaux and Mr. Dan A Bo-
udreaux, and Mr. Dave A.
Benesh. The rlngbearer, the
bride’s nephew, was Master
Glen Alan Hehn of Denton.
Ushers included Mr. H. O.
Wahrmund m, Mr. Albert
Clay in, Mr. Lumir Christ,
Mr. Charley Moore, and Mr.
EDwin Murr and M.r, Jim G-
lbson. After a short honey-
moon, the couple will reside
in Houston.
The bride graduated from
the Texas Woman’s Univer-
sity where she majored in
Occupational Theropy. The
groom is a U of H grad-
uate where he majored In
government, he now works
for Nixdorf computers.
Kolter PTO
elects officers
On March 14 at 7:30 p.m.
the Kolter P.T.O. held its
business meeting and elec-
ted new officers for the sc-
hool year 1974 -75. The fo-
llowing officers were elec-
ted: President, Dr. and Mrs.
Carey Murphy; Vice-Presi-
dent’ Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
C. Newhouse; Secretary’ Dr.
and Mrs. Robert Brownhill;
Treasurer’ Dr. and Mrs. R-
Thomas A, Vargo.
The Kolter P.T.O. also
dedicated it’s new patio In
honor of the principal, Mrs.
Mary Jane Gervers.
Immediately following the
dedication, Open House was
held in which the parents
visited their children’s ro-
oms and viewed their wo-
rk and efforts.
The Media Fair was al-
so held at which time the
following media was sold,
tapes, records, books, ga-
mes and other learning ai-
ds for all the children.

DAR convenes in
Austin this week
Under the leadership of
Mrs. F. Hastings Pannill,
state regent, NS DAR, more
then 600 members form 135
chapters across the state wi-
ll convene at the Hotel Dr-
iskill In Austin, March 20,
21, 22 for their Diamond an-
niversary and State Confer-
ence. All seven Houston
chapters will be represen-
ted.
Honor guests at this ann-
ual conference will be two
national officers, Mrs. Do-
nald Spicer, Presedent Ge-
neral NSDAR, who will be
speaker on the State Reg-
ent’s evening program, M-
arch 20; Mrs. Clarence Wh-
itfield Kemper, of Boone, M-
issourl, Chaplain General a-
nd Mrs. Ray Erb, past Na-
tional Chairman and present
National Defense Chairman
who will address the meet-
ing Thursday evening.
Mrs. Pannill, a formerH-
oustonian who, as State Re-
gent, will lead the business
meetings, has a long record
of service in DAR, She
has been a chapter regent,
state recording secretary,
editor of the Texas DAR Bu-
lletin, and co-chairman of
the state press book, when
she won two first place a-
wards at the Washington D.C.

the DAR is a non-profit or-
ganization whose state el-
