Special public hearing about a proposed ordinance
limiting heights of buildings in Bellaire, 9 a.m. at the
Council Chambers. Immediately following the hearing,
a special meeting of the City Council will take place, to
to consider the proposed height limit ordinance.

Adult coed softball will meet at 6 p.m. at the Little
League Field. Fun for all all are invited.

The Bellaire Municipal Band, a 60-piece band, under
the direction of Rich Condor, will perform at 7 p.m. at
the Gazebo.
May 1
Installation of the new City Council and new Mayor, at
the Council Chambers at 7 p.m. at the regularly
scheduled meeting.

An Old FAshioned Gospel
Sing and Ice Cream Social
will be held in the sancutary
of St. Andrew’s Presbyter
ian Church beginning at 6:30
p.m. this Sunday evening.
All of the choirs will sing
special numbers and the
congregation will be invited
to join in the singing of some
of the best-known old-time
gospel hymns.
Attendance awards will
be given to members of all
the choirs during the pro-
gram.
Following the Gospel Sing
the congregation will go to
Fellowship Hall for ice
cream and cake. All families
are asked to bring either a
freezer of homemade ice
cream or a homemade cake
to contribute to the social.
Mrs. R. D. Cutsinger will
direct the program, and
Mrs. Gordon Haggott will
accompany on the organ.
St. Andrew’s is located at
