physicians earnestly and with much
regret informed h:m that his malady
had passed beyond all human sail)
and power snd that he should place
the entire matter into the hands of
his Creator.
With this menage in mind ar.d
heart he came home to all those who
were near and dear to him, fully re-
signing himself into the hand* of
the Lord and awaiting the final sum-
mons from on high.
God made ready to call him. On
Friday afternoon, Aug 3, a few min-
utes before 1:00 o'clock, while par-
taking of his noon meal, he was over-
come by a hemorrhage and in a short
time he fell asleep in the arms of
his faithful and devoted wife. Truly,
she was faithful, sacrificing every-
thing, pressing into service every
ounce of devotion and care that he
might be comfortable.
This is the tribute we pay to that
faithful companion and we say it
without flattery or reservation.
Our community, far and wide, has
lost another citizen, son, father and
friend, but he has reached the heav-
enly gain, free from all earthly
fetter* and pain.
Mr. Frerichs leaves to mourn, his
faithful and devoted wife, one son,
