son meeting with shop and yard com-
mittees. Beginning at *:W Wednesday
morning a general meeting will be held
in the auditorium of the Chamber of
Commerce and this meeting will be
followed at 1 o'clock by a meeting of
the Denison district safety committee.
The morning meeting has been called
by K. E. Hanna, superintendent of the
Katy, for the purpoee o( discussing
various matters of importance to the"
railroad employes of the Denison dis-
trict

Mrs. W. T. Luesley of this city, ap-
pointive grand officer of the L. A. to
O. R. C..; Mra. H. R. Hershey and
Mrs. George Hup ter, have returned
from Muskogee where they attended
the Joint installation of the conductor-*
end the ladies’ auxiliary which was
held Sunday evening with beautiful
ceremonies. Fallowing the Inutallatlon
an elaborate banquet was served with
Mrs. Luesley and Mrs. Agnes M.
Wheelan of Oklahoma City, grand
vice-president, as distinguished honor
guests. Mrs. Luealey acted as in-
stalling officer, and during the eve-
ning was presented with a lovely sil-
ver bon bon dish as a token of love
and esteem from the Muskogee di-
vision. The Denison grand officer is
a frequent official visitor in that city
and has a host of frlonds there. Mr*,
Wheelan also received a lovely gift
from the Muskogee lodge, a silver olive
container. Visitors from Oklahoma
City, Parsons, Monette and Denison
were present__

The Wilson post will make a sur-
vey of the city In an effort to find
out If there are any former service

circumstances, not have a Christmas.

steps to see that they are provided
with a Christmas. A committee wn«
named to make the survey of the city.

Paul Henry Roberta, who was a
mall clerk out of Denison in 1918, nnd
who entered the army that year and
waa landed In France six days before
the armistice was signed, has been
missing since that fall, according to a
totter Ito the Fred *W. Wilson Post of
the American Legion from his slater,
Mrs. J. A. Leedow, 8126 Troost ave-
nue, Kanaaa City, Mo.
During the past three years she has
not heard a word from him, Mra. Lee-
dow says. Persons knowing anything
about Roberts are asked to communi-
cate with Har/y C. (Hidden, post com-
mander. or Robert Cox, post adjutant,
or write to Mrs. Leedow.
