the Snappers here Monday afternoon
in a see-saw game that was featured
by hard hitting by both clubs. Coyle
and Seaman led their respective clubs
with the sticks, each getting four
blows out of five times up while Lew-
is, Sherman shortstop, carried off the
fielding honors. The Snappers used
three pitchers, while the visitors used
two. McCarty, who started for Sher-
man, was yanked before the first in-
ning was completed. The two clubs j
made a total of twenty-three hits that
were good for thirty bases.
