Mrs. H. M. Orfield were brides-
matrons. Rev. Paul A. Clark
Clark served as best man. R. F.
Peden Jr., Phil Peden, Robert Kad-
erli Jr. and Robert G. Rowe were
groomsman.
The bride wore a gown of white
French net over net and taffeta
styled with a fitted basque waist,
scalloped neckline and short
puffed sleeves. Her fingertip illu-
sion veil fell from a Mary Stuart
bonnet, and she carried a bouquet
of gardenias, carnations, stepha-
notis and lilies of the valley.
A reception was held in the
Junior League patio, after which
the couple left on a trip to West
Texas. They will make their home
in Hartford, Connecticut.
The bride is a graduate of Rice
Institute where she was a mem-
ber of Owen Wister Literary So-
ciety. She also holds a master of
arts degree from Columbia Uni-
versity. The groom attended
Yankton College in Yankton, South
Dakota, and is now a student at
Trinity College in Hartford.
