join their son and brother, Alphonse,

Miss Mary Angell, 70, pioneer, died
at 5:10 a. m. on Thursday. June 8 at
the home of her sister, Mrs. C. S.
Newman in Silver City community
north of Cameron.
Miss Angell had been an invalid
for a long period of time. She was a
native of Milam county, bom Decern- kiaJ‘.‘), 1 ;
ber 15, 1877 the daughter of pioneer ^^^1
parents who settled here many years
ago.
Funeral services were to be held at
2 p. m. Friday, June 4 from the
Chapel of the Marek-Burns Fuenral
Home in Cameron by Rev. Lee Lem-
ons, pastor First Methodist Church.
Interment in the Walkers Creek
Cemetery.
Surviving are three brothers and
three sisters as follows: Frank An-
gell and John Angell of Cameror. and
Dave Angell of Hanover; Mrs. W. L.
Ingram of Cameron. Mrs. C. S. New-
man and Mrs. M. M. Whitley both
of Silver City. ._
