IT WAS SIMPLY
Overwhelming!
We honestly believed llie good people of this community would like our New Hunk Huilding,
would appreciate its modern conveniences and its opportunity for even Better Service, But —
WE DID NOT EXPECT A CROWD OF BETWEEN 3,000 AND 4.000 PEOPLE.
We were greatly embarrassed because our Souvenirs ran out before closing time -we had
2,000 souvenirs, hut the gifts for the kiddies ran out at noon and those for the adults at 2:00 p.
in., so for three hours thereafter we had to apologize.
— We appreciate this deep interest in our new building and in our hank more than we have
the words to express. It shows the people of this community are alert to the opportunities of the
hour, to the material things that mean community advancement, and are prepared to show their
appreciation in a substantial way.
—We thank you for your attendance Saturday, for your kindly interest, and for your con*
gratulations. We will try to express our thanks in terms of Banking Service, such as
you have not had before. We are here to serve this community in every possible way con*
sistent with sound hanking principles. If you are not now a customer of ours, we hope
you will take us into consideration in the future. If we can't have your account, at least
we want your good will and friendship
WONT YOU DROP IN AND TALK OVER FINANCIAL MATTERS, PERSONAL MATTERS,
IF YOU LIKE, and THINGS WHICH MAKE for ihe BETTERMENT of OUR COMMUNITY?
