foe Buakuer's Orphan Home: This
has been one of the happiest af-
fair* of my ministry. Tbc response
wuh generous from the very begin-
ning of the movement. Men of
all churches and of no church rela-
tion at all have cheerfully Joined
In the movement. Pastors, laymen
and ladies encouraged ua In the
effort from the day the llrst bush-
el of grain was promised until the
car was loaded at Hereford.
I wish to make apodal mention
of the fact that the Harrison ele-
vator has handled the wheat with-
out coat to ua and this favor has
greatly helped us In assembling
the wheat.
I wish also to thank the Here-
ford Brand for every courtesy ex-
tended. Many bushels of wheat
came In an a result of the publi-
city they gave to the movement.
Many Instances might be men-
tioned where men took their onp
trucks and drove more than If)
miles tn collecting and delivering
truck loads of wheat to the ele-
vator.
The railroads bmaptBaan oary
courteous and kind mat haws grant-'
ed every request we hare made
u|sin them. They asw transport-
ing the carload of wheat ffom
Hereford to Dallas without cost.
The Great West Mill and Eleva-
tor Co. won all our hearts when
they kindly consented to convert
the carload of wheat Into flour
and ship to Buckner’s Orphan
Home.
We are forcibly reminded of the
scripture, "In that you have doqe
It unto one of these, my little
ones, you have done It unto me.’’
Very sincerely,
O, E. Haxon, Missionary, Tierra
Blanca Baptist- Assoelatloa.
