“Creative activity is one of the major satisfactions of
the human soul—create something.”
“Man does not live by the right to cast a ballot.
Neither does he live by the rights to see the remnants
of other men s cultural triumphs. He lives by the right
to enjoy, in his own day and generation, the enduring
satisfactions of life. Only when ART and the other
benefits of culture flow freely through his individual
and social life can he be said to profit, in any real
sense, by the ‘inalienable rights of man’.”
