CREDITORS ARE SATISFIED
ielieTed TheyWiU Bble to Make
v k the HouaNfieti Ja Then li;
That every possible effort wiu be mad
by the purchasers of the assets of the
estate of T. WHou.e bankrupt to turn
the properties they hay .taken over Into
caah without delay waa stated yeaterday
by Henry Albrecht one of the three
trustee appointed to manage the newly
formed co-operative company.
All possible speed Is being made by W.
V. Lauralne accountant for the estate.
In preparing check for the payment of
thosa creditors who refused to come Into
the company and no delay Is anticipated.
Two weeka I. the limit of time likely to
be required In attending to this detail and
settling outstanding claims.
In discussing the affair of the estate
Mr. Albreclrt said:
"Our intention In taking over the as-
sets of the House estate for 80000 was
simply to eome out whole On the proposi-
tion and not to form a permanent busi-
ness concern. We certainly feel that if
other people thought the properties val-
uable enough to offer amounts almost
equal to our bid that they must be worth
what we paid. We therefore concluded
to bid them in and If we get out on the
basis of 100 cents on the dollar that Is all
we want.
"If we were to get an offer for the es-
tate which would allow the purchasing
creditors to withdraw without suffering
any loss from the failure of the House
bank we would do so at once. All of the
several properties will be sold If In the
judgment of the trustees the amounts of-
fered for them are sufficient to warrant.
The Areola sugar plantation is for sale
along with the rest and we are willing to
consider offer for any of the Individual
assets which are now in possession of
the purchasing creditors.
" Ith the payment to the trustee Mr.
Rice of the amount agreed upon and the
receipt from him of a bill of sale for the
assets the estate is taken out of court
and belongs to the purchasers. No one
else now has any authority to sell any of
the assets or to Interfere In any way In
the management of the estate.
"As far as Mr. House is concerned he
has not yet been discharged from bank-
ruptcy and can not be until the claims of
creditors who did not Join with us are
settled on the bast agreed upon before
the sale to the creditors was consum-
mated. After the checks have been sent
to the other creditors I suppose Mr.
Hr'. will then be dlschsrged from
bs 'uptcy."
A-'M.-u whether Mr. House would be re-
tained as manager of the Areola sugar
plantation Mr. Albrecht said that no
definite plans for the management of
the estate had been made. "We shall
probably hold a meeting of the trustees
tomorrow or at some early date when
plans for the management of the estate
will be formulated. We areell satis-
fied with the turn affairs have taken and
are confident that our action In taking
over the estate will prove to be fully
Justified.'-
