On Friday, April 30, at about 1:30 P. M., Texas Lutheran
Choir would like to sing on our campus. The faculty decided to
drop classes between the hour of 2:00 and 3:00 P. M. on that
day.
The State Department of Education has been working on criteria
for accrediting schools. More regional meetings are in the planning
stage, including one in Austin on March 10. The President and
the Secretary of the faculty will act as chairman and recorder,
respectively. What is our reaction to the evaluative instrument?
The members of the faculty were requested to leave with the Presi-
dent their individual opinions or reactions to the instrument
before Monday, March 8.
A question arose regarding the minimum high school student
load. After much discussion it was decided to require each student
to carry at least three solids.
The third quarter ends of March 19. Grades are due on that
day.
The Secretary reported that a review of the motives underlying
