unknown origin destroyed the 'fish aud
oyater plant Of the Atlas Fish and Qyster
company in Port O'Connor at noon
Thursday. The destruction waa com
plete and the plant valued at $9000 waa
not covered by insurance.
The fire marks the second time within
less than one year (bat the Atlas com
pany plant has been destroyed. During
the Corpus Christi storm lsst fall the
plant' was washed away and had to be re-
built. It was announced after the fire
by' A. B. Lorlno owner of the-plant that
construction of a new building would
commence at an early date.
