Houstonian Drowned
When Boat Capsized
When the boat In which he was fishing
on Grsnd lake near Con roe turned bve
early Friday afternoon Henry Hugo was
drowned. Hugo was South Texas repre-
sentative of the New Orleans News com
pany having Houston as his headquarters.
G. F. Sauter. Henry Hun and another
man made the trio to Grand lake Thurs
day afternoon. At the time of the acci-
dent Hugo was using one skiff while the
other members of the party had another
together. At noon Friday they became
hungry and looked for Hugo. Unable to
see his. boat they presumed be had gone
ashore and made ror tne isnaing piaoe
whara thev found ha had not arrived.
Thinking nothing of It. they delayed In-
vestigations for some time. When they
found him his feet were submerged and
nis neaa noaung in waist aeep water.
The ton. of his hat was not wet. He had
complained of being ill on the trip and
it ia tnouant nut ooat struca a snae ana
turned over which caused him to faint
in his weakened condition. All efforts to
resuscitate him were useless.
The body was Drougnt to Houston ana
taken In charge by the Westhelmer com-
pany. Hugo is survived by relatives la
New Orleans. The body will probably
be snipped. .

Becoming frightened when an automo
bile brushed Its flank a horse attached
to the huckster wagon of Alex Barber
ran away and headed In the direction of

New St. John's Church
To Be Opened Sunday
The congregation of 8t. Johns Meth-
odist church will worship for the first
time Sunday In their new $40000 church
building aearing completion. The inte

The Harris county grand Jury for Feb
ruary completed its sessions Friday and
filed a brief statistical report with- Crim-
inal District Judge . W. Robinson. Only
one matter of consideration Is mentioned

tion of rounding up the Idlers and loafers.
We especially recommend that the
