Dynamite Comes In
Small Packages
Have you ever won-
dered why dynamite
comes in small packages?
The answer is obvious
since dynamite is a power-
ful force that can cause a
vast destruction. Very lit-
tle is needed to blast
rocks, buildings, or trees
from its roots. Dynamite,
like other inventions, can
be used either construc-
tively or destructively,
depending upon the per-
son in control. Is there,
then a definite relation-
ship between a force or
action and its controller,
or the mind that controls
it? Is it possible to relate
the power of a thing so
small to the power of a
person's mind? Scien-
tists tell us that man uses
only a minute portion of
his brain. A small portion
of dynamite can be used
in a constructive manner
and just look at the re-
sults that can be gotten.

have been working since
school began. They will
enter projects in five
fields of work. These are

machine metal, sheet
metal and welding. Wood

ent outlook. They began
the school year with a ser-
ies of tests to teach them
the functions of all the dif-
ferent machines. This
part of their education is
now complete and they
have begun choosing and
building their projects.
Drafting students arc also
about to begin their pro-
jects. They have just com-
pleted choosing their
workpiece, and will be-
gin drawing soon.
All the students that are
participating hope to
their surprise, the assem-
bly began with the new
pop tune of "Star Wars".
The assembly was contin-
ued with popular teen
songs like the theme from
"Rocky", "Best of my
Love", "Higher and High-
er", and several others.
The band was featured by
two femal vocalists and
several solos.
The assembly ended
with one of the top ten
tunes of the chart, "Car
Wash". To show the
crowd's pleasure the stu-
dents gave the band a
standing ovation and al-
most begged for more
music. The assembly was
made possible by our Lo-
cal Airforce Recruiter.
