Happy birthday to Marsha Brewster
who celebrated at the Unicorn last Sun-
day night. Special congrats also goes to
Ron Payne who is the L.S. poster child
for 1985. Next it’s congrats to Dena
Maloy who was crowned the new Miss
Tarrent County Mining Company last
Saturday. William at the Unicorn was
also honored (1 guess) at a Nerd party
last week in Grapevine. I’m not sure if his
title is “Head Nerd,” “Queen Nerd,” or
“Nancy Nerd.”
Next week is anniversary week with two
special events. First will be the Ranch
anniversary on Tuesday with free well
drinks from 8:00 till 10:00 and with me
serving free draft. Then on Thursday,
J R’s will be celebrating their 4th anniver-
sary with free well and draft and the best
view on Cedar Springs.

Mike and Bill, thanks for a yummy
Thanksgiving buffet and'some equally
tasty looking guests. And Michael, 1 just
loved your afterhours party last Satur-
day night, 1 hope we weren’t over
t dressed.
Redmond and Yorke, the team that stole
the hearts of Dallas at the old Patrick’s,
are back for three days only-December
2,3, and 4. This will be a “rearrange your
social calendar event” because you will
not want to miss this hilarious duo as
they perform at Patrick’s in their new
location. Also, A1 and Steve, it was so
good to see that you’re indoor help now.
I mentioned last week that Joe Jock
spoke at a gay sports symposium in
Oklahoma City. Befoe the Jock had a
chance to return to Dallas, 1 was receiv-
ing phone calls from Oklahoma City.
First off, all reports said that Joe Jock
gave a wonderful talk...so what. Follow-
ing the talk, everyone went out and Joe
Jock proceeded to get cocktailed and
then fall in lust with a bar tender at Sad-
dle I ramps. Rick, the bartender, gave
Joe his apartment keys, but Joe didn’t
know the apartment number. He pro-
ceeded to go door-to-door, trying the
keys to find the right door. Fortunately,
Richard Montgomery was there to save
him from his folly.

Also from Okla. City, David, the first
lady of the Mainline traveled to Houston
last weekend and is now the first lady of
the Pigasus as well. David collects entre-
preneurs. David passed through Dallas
to party with the Wrangler’s on Sunday
and even made it by to visit with me
while 1 was slinging suds at the Ranch.
Butch men are in the news. Carl atTMC
scared himself last Thursday when he
had to get butch with a testy custom-
er...it surprised me too. And the real men
were all gathered at the Sundance last
Tuesday to watch the Bugs Bunny
special.

Doug at the Union Jack fell for a custo-
mer last week, literally, as he fell to the
floor. He should try Brian’s technique.
From what I hear it gets better results.

Terry at Hunky’s got out from behind
the counter last week and ended up
behind bars. Next time he borrows a car,
he’ll be sure to check it out first. In a
related story, related by marriage that is,
my own version of Nicky Arnstein’s hits
have skyrocketed and he has finally suc-
ceeded in locating somewhere that has
free rent.

Don Laney had the Ranch afterhours
lasting to 4:00 am last weekend with his
hot tunes. Across town, Bob and Jerry
are keeping the dance floor at the Crews
Inn busy. Last Tuesday’s happy hour
crowd stayed festive long after happy
hour. And Bracy, do all divorcees burn
the old sheets and buy new?

I’ve mentioned to you before about
Kevin, the rent-a-husband at Patrick’s.-
..now there’s somewhere else to look for
those emergency home repairs. Tex and
Clint discovered last Friday night, and
Saturday morning, that they can give
Josephine the plumber a run for her
money.
