LODGE NO. 66, CTI ORAL GROUP
Dear Members and Friends:
It has been quite some time now
síňce you háve heard from us, but we
háve remained active and busy, none-
iheless. To go bacíc just a little, we
sang at the District III spring meeting
a.t Elk on March 9th. We sang -Ty,
muj svaty Antonicku“Juaniia ” and
ť‘Red -River Valley.” We had Jinimy
Motis as our speciál aecompanísť on
his standard guitar, in addition to Es~
telle Motis, his mother, on the piano,
The instrument lent an authentic íla-
vor to the song of the Old West. We ře-
ce ived many favorable comments, and
the crowd seemed to enjoy the num-
bers very much.
At our last meeting and rehearsal,
ifc was decided to set our annual dues
at $3 per year. However, with only
one-halí of the year remaining, it was
decided that all members would pay
only $1.50 for the rest of the year,
then pay the íull amount, starting the
first of the y ear.
It was also decided that we let some
other chorál group perform at the
Czech Day in Dallas this year, sincé
we háve been ťhere tlíme years in a.
rov/, but that if no other group was
willing or wanted to, we would offer
our Services.
Brother Morris has set our next re-
hearsal for Thursday, June 15th. Leťs
all try to be there.
Fraternally,
