First of all, I would li ke to extend
our heartřelt sympathy to Mr. and

heard the sad news, and our thought-s
and prayers are with you, Sister and
Brother Beran, and with your children,
Charles and Yvonne. We knew Frank,
so we know what a splendid young
man he was — one that we were
mighty proud to háve in our SPJST!
I ani indebted to Sister Annie Vala,
our faithful Food Chairman, for the
following list of generous donors of
ples and cak.es for t he divmer at the
district meeting: Marie Elzner, Della
Miksch, Maflene Caraway, Elsie Za-
lesky, Agn.es Lesák, Della Kadlecek,
I.owrina Lindemann, Helen Hegwood,
Mary Flisig, Albína Drawe, Lillian
Finu, Pearl Hanka, Gladys Kave-
rnami, Mickie Biče, Ta lila Hilslier,
and Mary Johnson!
I want to reraind all of you that we
are still having those good Spaghetti
Suppers every Tliursday from 6 to 8
p.m., and those “Czech Spaglietti“
suppers are as g ood or better than
any Italian spaghetti I’ve ever eaten!
And what makes it nicer than ever
is having these suppers right before
the socials that so many enjoy every
Tliursday!
