LODGE NO. 13, DIME BOX
Dear Readers,
The SPJST youth club of Dime Box
had a Wiener roast at Somerville Dam.
Everyone met at the overlook marina
about 5 p.m. When everyone had ar-
rived the youth went to look at the
boats. The most fun was when we went
riding on the paddle boats. We had a
swell time on them, that is, after we
learned to guide tliem correctly. After
we got off the paddle boats we de~
cided to put the volley balí net up
while the wieners roasted. Although it
took awhile to put it up, but we made
it; then we ate. After we ate, we chose
tearns and played for a while. The boys
were tired of playing the same teams,
so they wanted to play girls against
boys, so we did. Bet you can’t guess
who won? YouT right, the girls did!

While we were busy playing volleyball
the parents were busy talking about
this and that. Everyone had a reál
blast!
The Snook SPJST youth club invited
us to a swimming party on Wednes-
day, June 18. We will swim at the
pool in Caldwell at 7 o’clock. I’m sure
everyone will come.
I can hardly wait until camp. Dis-
trict I will go to Bastrop State Park
on July 6-10. I hope it will be as much
fun as last year, if not more.
On June 22 there will be a dance at
the SPJST Halí in Dime Box from 8:30
to 12:30. The Barons will play. Every-
one make your plans to come. Scc you
then!
