Jolly Six Band of Houston on the band
stana will be “Mládek” of the Czech
play, námely Banny Pavlas. So come out
and enjoy dancing to this fine orchestra.

uiar moathiy meeting on July 9 in the
hune of Brother and Sistcr Bili Moreau.
The meeting started out with roli ca 11
of oíReers, readlng of past minutes, and
business. V/c then discussed plans fo.r
nu; annual Wiener roast. It is going to

be held on August 19 at 11:30 at the
Texas Gulf Sulfur Picnic Aréna off the
Port Arthur highway. This is the same
íocation that it has been held in the !
past. We want everyone w,ho can pos-
šibly attend to be there. We are really
planning to háve fun. Wc will háve
dancing, food, .games, and prizes. There
is a playground far the children, so
bring them all. Don’t forget — August
19, 11:30 a.m. — Texas Gulf Sulfur Pic-
nic Aréna — Sunday.
We had visitors at this meeting, Mr.
and Mrs. Les Cox. It was a pleasure to
háve them.

The Slavonic Mutual Fire Insurance
association will háve a meeting on Sun-
day, July 22 at the National Halí 3316

Roberts Cut Off Road. The meeting will
begin at 2:30 p.m.
Everyone should try to attend this
meeting as it is important. As an tne
members háve been informed, it is as-
sessment time and you can pay them in
person and attend the meeting also.
Since one of our appraisers, Mr. Frank
Kadlecek, passed away recently, a new
appraiser will háve to be elected at this
meeting. A number of other matters
will also be discussed.
The entertainment committee will
serve dinner after the meeting and the
ladies are asked to bring ples. cakes or
koiaches for which we ťiiank them.
If you are unable to attend this meet-
ing to pay your assessm.cnt you may
mail it or bring it to the secretary, Car!
