Dear Members,
At our last meeting, new officers
for 1975 were installed by Mrs.
Massey, They are:

Speciál guests were Mrs. Massey

Lodge No. 97, Placedo has agreed
to help host the spring district
meeting to be held here in Victoria,
in April.
New members are Shara and
Chad McCormick.

LODGE NO. 175, FORT BEND
Dear Members:
Fort Bend Lodge No. 175 will
hold itsi annual meeting Sunday,
January 26, 1975 at 3 p.m. at the
Rosenberg Civíc Center on Airport
Road. At this time we will elect
new officers and amend our rule®
and regulations.
Following the meeting, a covered
dish supper will be served. Please
bring a dish that will serve your
family. '

LODGE NO. 81, NEEDVILLE
Dear Members and Friends:
Our fiírst meeting in this new
year of 1975 was held January
12. Our Supreme Lodge President
Nick A, Morris and his lovely wife
and their handsome son paid us a
visit and we were glad to háve
them. Brother Morris, we thank
you for coming out and for your
informative and inspiring talk.
We certainly hope your trip back
to Temple did not impose any
hardship and you and your family
made it safely.

The meeting was called to order
by President Charlie Mateek. The
pledge of allegiance was recited
by all present and the memfoership
stood in silent tribute to Sister
Norma Strážnicky who passed
away since our last meeting. Sis-
ter Strážnicky was a good mem-
ber and the lodge wishes to extend
heartfelt sympathy to her hus-
band, Russell strašnicky, and his
family.
Secretary, Sister Werner, read
the minutes from the previous
meeting which were approved as
read. A thank-you letter was
received and read from the family
of Norma Strážnicky. Sister Helen
Bryson gave her financial and
treasury report which was followed
by the report of the Speciál Fund
treasurer, Brother Gilbert Walzel.
He gave a full report of all in-
come and expense' since our new
halí was built. We are very proud
of our new home and, as all of you
know, We need to háve many ac-
tivities in order to pay for it, so
please support our projects what-
ever they may be.
On the sick list we háve Sister
Frances Palat and Brother Tom
Kolatja and Thomas Kuykendall
(who had eye surgery and is doing
fine).
To all these fine members go our
sincere wishes for better health
throughout the year of 1975.
Sister Rosalinda Hartfield gave
a report on our Memoriál Fund.
The Auditing Committee report-
ed the books were found in order.
Thirty get-well eards were sent
out in the past year to our sick
members' by Sister Willie Maty
Kuykendall.
The lodge is very proud of our
promising young graduate, Karen
Susan Brady, daughter of Sister
and Brother Edwin E. Susan.
Karen received a Baehelor of
Business Administration Degree
from the University of Houston in
December. She has taken a posi-
tion as an accoimtant with Mil-
chem International, London, Emg-
land. Karen, we wish you good luek
and a lot of success.
Our annual chili supper came
up for discussion and we háve dé-
cided to háve it again, and the
dáte was set for Fehruary the llth.
Serving will begin at 5 p.m. The
committees will meet on the 29th
to pian for it. The Kitchen Com-
mittee is asking for pastry to

be served with the cořfee and tea.
Cards will not bet sent out asking
for a donation of pastry, so please
feel free to bring them when you
come to supper. invite your friends
and neighbors and telí them what
good chili we serve.
A policy was issued to Brother
Milton Hartfield, Jr., and a re-
newal term policy to Brother Ed-
win L. Stastny. We are most
happy to háve Brother Hartfield to
join our Lodge 81 and Brother
Stastny to renew his} policy.
“Happy Rirthday’ was sung
to Sister Beatrice Pickett. It was
nice to háve you with us, Sister
Pickett. Come back to see us
again, soon. ť
The dooř prize was won by Sister
Ruby Holub.
A most enjoyable lunch was had
by all.
Our next meeting will be on
February the 9th at 2 p.m.

LODGE NO. 15, BUCKHOLTS
Dear Members and Friends,
Our meeting was called to or-
der by President Warren Hillman,
We stood for the pledge of al-
legiance, and for a moment of si-
lent prayer for our departed
member, Brother Steve Svetlik.
The minutes from the previous
meeting were accepted as read.
Our books were audited and
found to be in ordetr.
On our sick list were Brother
Henry Havlik, Brother John Svět-
lík, Brother and Sister Stanley
Paswal, Sister Virginia Williams,
Brother Charlie Hundle, Brother
and Sister Ben Vybíral, also Deb-
bie Ruzicka who was in the hos-
pital hope each one is feeiing bet-
ter.
Our youth club had their fírst
meeting this year. Sure was glad
to see each child and our speciál
thanks to Glenda Ruzicka, our
youth leader.
We had one visitor, Brother I>an
Balusek; come again, Dan, visitors
are always welcome.
Our next meeting will be- on
February 12th, the second Wednes-
day in February, at 7:30 p.m.
