Dimes and the Caneer Drive. A ino-
tion made and seconded that we háve
a řree barbecue for members this year.
The time and dáte will be announced
at a láteř dáte.
We háve one new mernber, Mrs.
Charlie Janes, Jr. We welcorne her.
On the sick list is Mrs. Ed Vavra.
We hope she will be among us reál
soon for we miss her at our meetings.
There was no other business and the
meeting came to a close. The dooř
prize was v/on by Mrs. Daniel Surovik
and our next meeting will be the see-
ond Sunday. in April at the home of
Brother and Sister Daniel Surovik.

Bear Members,
A great honor has come to our lodge
and the SPJST, for our State Senáte
has passed a resolution in memory of
one of our members, Brother Stephen
Valcik. Not only does this bring reeog-
nition to our SPJST but also to the en-
tire Czech population in Texas. Five
originál copies, eaeh signecl by Lieu-
tenant Governor Ben Barnes and Sen-
áte Secretary Charles Schnabel, háve
been sent to Sister Helen Valcik and
family.
Enclosed is a copy of the resolution,
and I f-eel that when you read it, you
will be very proud and happy that this
weil-deserved rec-ognition was given to
our Brother Valcik.

LODGE NO. 25, ENNIS
Dear Readers,
At our last youth club meeting,
which was held on Sunday, February
9, we discussed various ways of raising
money for our youth club. One of the
activities planned is set for our next
meeting on Sunday, March 9. At that
time, Ján my Struno will show his slides
taken of Europe during .his recent
Loiir of the continent. There are about
three hundred slides in all, which were
taken in Greece, Italy, Switzerlancl,
Austria, Hoiland, Germany, and Ehg-
land.
The showing wiii start at approxi-
mately 3 p.m. follovving the adult meet-
ing of Lodge 25. Tiie public is invited
and no admission wiii be charged.
though tliere will be a box set up for
donations if anyone wishes to con-
tribute. Any proceecls will go to the
youth club. So, come on out and en-
Joy the sights as the youth of Lodge
25 také you on a Tour of Europe.
Among the sights, the viewers will
view the Acropolis in Greece, with the
famed Parthenon, the famous Chang-
ing of the Guard in England, the
beautiful colored tulips of Hoiland, the
famous fountains of Vila de Este in
Rome, and for the lovers of the rao-
tion picture: The Sound of Music, a
tour of places where the picture was
filmed, in Austria.
We hope to see you there.
