were given to one of our Lodge Broth-
ers, B. J. Marek, who passed on. He was

greatly missed by his friends and Lodge
Brothers and Sisters.

Ennis, Texas
Our July 8 meeting was held at the
regular tirne. President Tupý opened
the meeting with a hearty congratula-
tions for our new Supreme Lodge vice
president, Brother Joe B. Hejny. We are
all extremely proud to know that
. Brother Hejny was elected and on my
běhali and on behalf of all membcrs
. of Volna Cechie I want to také this
opportunity again to congratulate
• Brother Hejny and wish him a lot of
xuccess. I ara sure if he does as well
in Tem.ple as he has doně in our Lodge,
.eyeryone will bo more than pleased
with his work.
Brother Hejny stated at the meeting
that we can be assured that he will do
to the bcst of his ability in his new
■work. And if everyone knows Brother
Hejny they know he will do just that.
He has doně a wonderful work for us
herc in Ennis. Brother and Sister Hejny,
we will miss you and your children a
'great deal, but Terapie is not too far
froni us.
An excellent report was brought back
i'rrom the convention by our delegáte,
, íÍro(ťher Frank A. Laznovsky. He gave
'lima summary frorn the first to the last
day of the convention. It was a véry
interesting and well brought back re-

v - We are happy to háve Brother Stan-
ley Svehlak as a new member. Also we
•are glad to háve Brother Jerry Chudéj
and; his daughter Monica transferred
from the Kaufman Lodge to 135. Wel-
eome to our Lodge. We hope to see a

LODGE VESMERNOST NO. 68
Nelsonville, Texas
Our first meeting after the conven-
tion was well attended. Our delegates
gave us a nice report of their work and
sweat. We thank them and the Supreme
Lodge for the good support given to
our siek members.
We passed one minuté of silence in re-
spect of our deceased member, Frank
Sehiller. Our sympathy to the bereaved
family.
We háve new members: Wilroy Pes-
chel, certificate $1000; Sharon Faye
Krebes, certificate $1000.
We will háve barbecue July 29. Mem-
bers of this Lodge will be free, non-
miembers and friends aře welcome. Serv-
ing at noon. Mu ic and refreshm.ents
of all kinds, dance at night. Will see
you there.

Resolution of Sympathy
We the members of Lodge No, 157
wish to express our deepest sympathy
to the parents and sisters of
EDWARD J. KOCICK, JR.
who drowned while learning how to
swim on June 10, 1956, at the age of 17
and was laid to rest Wednesday, June
13, at Plainview Memoriál Cemetery,
with a large crowd of relatives and
friends attending.
This deceased brother was a promis-
ing young man with a friendly and
pleasant personality and was liked by
everyone who came in contact with him.
He will be sádly missed: in our Lodge
meetings as well as in his communíty.
May his soul rest in peace.

Resolution of Sympathy
We, the resolution committee of Lodge
Anton J. Čermák No. 56, Corpus Christi,
Texas, wish to express our sincere sym-
pathy in behalf of our Lodge to the be-
reaved sons, Willie and Henry of Edna,
and Charlie of Corpus Christi; one
daughter, Mrs. D. C. Griggs of Corpus
Christi, and ten grandchildren of
WILMA HUFF
who died so suddenly on June 24, 1956,
at the age of 56 years. The deceased
Sister belonged to the SPJST 28 years
and will be missed by our members,
