TODAY
Since the past was once the future,
-And the future will soon be past,1
' ■ I concern ’ myself with only the present
Today ís the only time I really háve
I will not maurů the dead yesterdays,
Nor will I fear the unborn morrows,
Each day is a link in the chain of life;
Today’s iink is the most important one
For if I let it slip carelessly away
I spill all my clays in a heap.
I shall try to use them as I should,
Then tenderly and carefully put them
away. • ;
