St. James on the Lake Episcopal Church is in cov-
enant with the Anglican Communion. Regular Sunday
worship service and Holy Communion is at 9 a.m. fol-
lowed by coffee and Christian education in the parish
hall.
After service each Sunday, the parishioners attend a
T.E.A.C.H. session held at the church. T.E.A.C.H.
stands for Timely Education After Church Hour. Sun-
day is the start of an 18-week series on the book of
Hebrews. This week’s lesson is titled “Fulfillment in
Jesus” and the scripture is Hebrews 1:1-4. Lesson 1
provides an overview of the book of Hebrews and helps
the participant focus, anticipate and pray about what
we will be learning in this very important book in the
Bible. This lesson will be led by parishioner Paul Lasiter.
There are many Holy Days in the Episcopal Church
calendar. The Holy Days in September are the 14th for
the Holy Cross Day; the 21 st for Saint Matthew, apostle
and evangelist; and the 29th for Saint Michael and all
angels.

mornings at 7 a.m.
• Second and fourth Mondays at 6:30 p.m., separate
men and women Bible study groups are held at the
