The Motor. British publication,
reported;
TUe Alpine Trial. with its high
average speeds, is becoming stead-
ily more difficult for tbe average
stock car. One of the amazing fea-
tures of the affair is that there
are so few serios accidents. Cars
must be capable of doing at least
70 miels per hour on the level,
when there Is any. to make up for
lost time Thus, the successful car
must not only climb without de-
veloping cot>llng or mechanical
trouble, but has also to be fas; and
road-worthy.
