SPJS' Mortgage Loan Program
Y our honit1 is a major invest-
ment, and it takés routine maínte-
nance and upgrades to keep it
looking good and maintaining its
value.
And speaking of value, here’s some-
thing else you’11 want to consider: An
SPJST Home Loan. If you are pur-
chasing a home or want to remodel
your current home, háve at least 25
percent down or equity in your home,
you could be in line to savé plenty.
Pay Now, Savé Later
Something to consider: Unlike
most commercial institutions, SPJST
does not seli its mortgage notes to other
financial institutions. Should you háve
a question, you know who to call.
The basic philosophy underlying the
mortgage lending program offered
through the SPJST is that through joint
effort and mutual self-interest, individ-
uals and families may collectively
achieve objectives unattainable by act-
ing alone.
In order to be considered for a mort-
gage loan with SPJST, you or your
spouse must be a member of the Soci-
ety. Likewise, each immediate family
is subject to a maximum financing lim-
itation of $500,000.
SPJST currently offers home, farm,
and commercial mortgages with notes
ranging up to 30 years. For a free
packet to see how you can savé when
making a new loan or refinancing
through the SPJST, please contact the
SPJST Mortgage Loan Department at
(800) 727-7578.

SPJST Education
and Nátuře Center (ENC)
at Cooper Farm
For more than 40 years, an exciting
fratemal idea — the quest to establish
a family oriented educational and ná-
tuře center remained an elusive dream.
The SPJST Education and Nátuře Cen-
ter (ENC) is now bringing that vision
to life. The mission of SPJST ENC, as
established in year 2000 by the dele-
gates to the 28th SPJST Convention, is
multifaceted: To provide for use by the
generál public for education in the
areas of nátuře, conservation, environ-
mental matters,fitness and health, cul-
ture, patriotic, family living, and
history.
Through a long-term lease agree-
ment with Lower Colorado River Au-
thority and with funding from SPJST,
the SPJST ENC opened for operations
in 2010. The first full year of opera-
tions was in 2011. Already, the facility
has provided reereation and nátuře
training facilities for numerous frater-
nal groups, religious, school, civic and
environmental groups.
Located approximately 70 miles
east of Austin, near Fayetteville and La
Grange, this picturesque region
