Hello, everyone! It is the begin-
ning of February already. Time is
flying by!
First of all, on behalf of the offi-
cers and members of Lodge 92, I
would like to congratulate our
Fraternalist of the Year for 2004—
Joe Kozel. Thank you, Joe, for all
you do for the lodge and the commu-
nity.
I would like to remind all of you
that our regular lodge meeting is
going to be held on Sunday, February
13. This month only, the meeting
will begin at 1 p.m. No meal will be
served because of the dance that will
follow the meeting. The members
are asked to bring pastry for the cake-
walk.
Just a Reminder
Members, our Vice President/FAC
Martha Durham asks that you please
wear your SPJST pin to the February
meeting, as it is a wonderful way to
promote our Czech-founded fratemal
organization.
We are having a speciál
Valentine’s Dance on February 13
from 3 to 7 p.m. We will feature the
Jodie Mikula Orchestra of Ennis, and
they will be playing your polka,
waltz, country, and fun-dance
favorites.
In addition to the dance, Kenneth
and Mary Ann Křivánek will háve
the kitchen open, and they will be
serving the traditional faře of klobáse
sandwiches, nachos, and hamburgers.
Admission to the dance will be $7. If
you would like reservations for this
great day, please be sure to call Joyce
at (817) 624-1361. See the calendar
for more info.
Remember that we háve country
dancing on the first Sunday of each
month by Randy and the Roadhouse
Band from 3 to 7 p.m., ballroom
dancing each and every Friday from
8:30 to 11:30 p.m., and our
polka/waltz/variety dancing on the
third Sunday of each month, with the
exception of February.
Several of our regular attendees
háve been unable to attend the
monthly meetings. On behalf of the
members, I’d like to send a big hello
to Christine and Shirley Zich, Liz
Howard, and Mona Lee Hattendorf.
We miss you all, and hope you’11 be
back with us very soon!
