being selected the District

Carlos wrote 17 applica-
tions for more than $1 mil-
lion of insurance. He and
his wife were also treated
to lunch for his hard work
and dedication to SPJST.
Kirby Oltmann (October 11), and
John Skinner (October 13). Mr. and
Mrs. Orville W. Kunkel celebrated
their 55th wedding anniversary on
October 1, 2005. Congratulations to
all.
Lloyd and Joan Goehring prepared
a delicious meal of sausage and
sauerkraut for our October meeting.

District One Director Donnie
Victorick gave a brief report on
SPJST happenings in the district and
statě.
Sales Representative Ricky
Weyand gave a brief report on sales
for the lodge. Scholarship applica-
tions, the Fourth of July parade, and
lodge incentives were discussed.
Next Meeting—November 10
Our next meeting will be held on
Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m.
Bea Vašek volunteered to prepare the
turkey and dressing for the
November meeting. Members are
asked to bring a side dish or dessert.
If you pian to bring guests, please
give Bea a head count in advance.
The meeting adjoumed with food,
fun and fellowship.

Lodge 186
Caldwell meets
November 15
The November meeting dáte of
Lodge 186, Caldwell has been
changed to November 15, 2005, at the
lodge halí on Highway 36 South. This
will be our Thanksgiving dinner and
election of officers. The dáte is being
changed to allow our members to
attend the Burleson County Fair
Annual meeting. All members of the
lodge are invited and encouraged to
attend all meetings.

Round Rock
congratulates
member
At the October meeting of Lodge
187, Round Rock, Linda Johnson was
recognized for her participation in the
pool toumament at the District Two
Fall Meeting. She was the third plače
winner. Congratulations, Linda!
Next Meeting—November 13
The lodge also began planning our
donations for several organizatons for
the year. In connection with this,
members are asked to bring canned
goods and non-perishable items to the
meeting on Sunday, November 13,
2005. The board meeting is at 2 p.m.
followed by entertainment at 2:30
p.m. The meeting is at 3 p.m., and pot
luck foliows the meeting.
Domino Club
The Domino Club, which meets the
second Tuesday of each month, has
welcomed Frances Warner to our
group. Members and friends are invit-
ed to join us. We meet from 1 to 4
p.m.
Hope to see you at one of our meet-
ings.

Morgan’s Point
meets November 13
Dear Members and Readers,
Don’t let the cooler weather keep
you from attending the meetings. Our
next meeting will be the election of
the 2006 lodge officers, and we
encourage every member to attend
and be involved in the election
proces s. If you would like to get
involved in the lodge as an officer,
please attend the meeting.
The meeting will be at Lone Star
Banquet Halí in Morgan’s Point at 2
p.m. on November 13. Hope to see
