NMS Student
Of the Week
Rachel Mitchell
The next Newton Middle School Student of the Week for the
weeks of January 26-February 6 is Tarryn Sutton. Tarryn was
nominated by Missy Feistel. She says, “Tarryn has only been
in my class for a few weeks as a student helper, but she fits in
like she has been here all year. She helps the students that are
struggling to keep up when we are working. She is willing to
cut out and make game boards for me, or she will copy papers.
Tarryn is always willing to do anything I ask and she does it
with a smile. She is very pleasant to have as a student helper
in my class. She has made some of the work for the students
easier as we go over our steps for the day. I believe Tarryn will
make an outstanding Student of the Week.” Tarryn is the
daughter of Jared and Wendi Williams and Robert Sutton.
The next Newton Middle School Student of the Week for the
weeks of February 9-20 is Rachel Mitchell. Rachel was nomi-
nated by Bruno Wisniewski. He says, “Rachel always comes to
class prepared. She brings her books, notes, supplies, and
anything else she needs for class. She always stays on task,
and works hard to complete her assignments. She always does
her work first before asking for help, and follows the instruc-
tions that are given. This student is always respectful.” Rachel
is the daughter of Joseph and Rita Rye and Wesley and Kim
Mitchell.
