The Most Fascinating
Lot Sale Ever Put
on in Sherman
J. I’ Geren's Addition of 3?. lots, two
blocks south of the Sanitarium and just
two blocks southeast of a beautiful block
ol ground bought for the location of one
of the Public School buildings, will lie
put. on sale APRIL 2 1. Watch for the
date. All the lots are well staked and
can easily be Identified by lot and block
numbers on the1 ground. The streets are
nicely graded and water will be piped con-
venient, to every lot, so the purchasers will
neither have to wait for water nor bear
the expense or getting it. Those looking
for tile addition will observe, unfurled
between two trees, iiear the center of the
addition, a white flag, which means cap-
itulation, a conditional surrender to the
lemands of necessity. I need the money
and you need the lots, which will lie sold
on easy terms. They will all be priced
under the value of lots similarly located
and the higher price will be placed on
most desirable lots.
t. is the intention of the seller, ns a
token of appreciation of the friendship
manifested by the purchasers of the lots,
that, when all shall have been paid for to
make a distribution of souvenirs among
the purchasers, so that all will get one.
The souvenirs distributed wi|l range in
value from One to One Hundred Dollars
and lit that collection will be seven Dia-
monds, valued at from Twenty-five
($25.00) to One Hundred $ 100.Oh' Dol-
lars. Any person getting a diamond may
have it s wholesale value in money, if de-
sired.
In order to avoid even the semblance,
of partiality the purchasers of the hits
may arrange for a fair distribution.

New Type of Ocean Liner.
A new type of ocean llnfcr is helm:
constructed on the Clyde. The chlel
advantage claimed for it is that it
ran he. operated with the cheapest
quality of oil, which at present cau be
purchased at $7.25 to $0.75 per ton
The charge is ignited by compression
obviating the necessity of magneto ot
spark, and to start the euglue require.-
btit five minutes, a difference of about
fifteen hours iti comparison with rais
lug steam by means of boilers. It b
estimated that UKI tons of oil will bi
equivalent to 300 tons of coal fot
steaming purposes and that the span
required for fuel will be about one
fourth of that required for coul. Spp
eially constructed tanks for oil nn
planned, anil the vessel will have u<
hollers, no funnels mid no coal bunk
crs. hut arrangements .allow for tki
accommodation of a limited numbe;
of passengers. It Is believed that Un-
improved type of engine will in tlnn
supplant to a considerable extent steam
engines and boilers.
