He adds that he and Stack were
friends, but not confidants, Billy
said he knew Stack was an engineer
but nothing about his "day job.”
Billy Eli also has a large fan base
in New York and when he travels in
the northeast he recruits a separate
group of musicians to play with him
there.
“They’re from Austin, but live in
Philadelphia now and it's a lot easier
than hauling guys," Billy said*

But Billy will be glad when this
few minutes of attention is over.
“The music business attracts
freaky people. My best
man is in prison for bank robber),
so I’ve had some dealing with
bizarre events,” Billy said.
"I haven’t had time to slow down
and think about this yet."
So for Livingston folks who knew
him as Little Bill, he’s eager to talk
about music or hometown gossip

SENTENCE
CONTINUED from Page IA
Hudspeth admitted to the
inappropriate and illegal contact
she had with the three underage
boys.
Hudspeth was indicted by a
Polk County Grand Jury on Oct.
30, 2009 on five counts of online
solicitation of a minor.
She pleaded guilty to two counts
of the indictment on Jan. 25 and
sentencing was set for Feb. 19.
At Friday’s sentencing hearing,
witnesses for the state testified
about the effect of the incidents on
the families of the victims.
Witnesses for Hudspeth testified
that she was a good person who
had been punished enough for the
“mistake” she made.
After hearing testimony, District
Judge Robert Hill Trapp sentenced
Hudspeth to 10 years probation
and required that she register as a
sex offender.
Further, Hudspeth must reliquish
her teaching certificate and must
serve 30 days in the Polk County
jail as a condition of probation.
"The Polk County District
Attorney’s Office is gratified
with the sentence handed down
by Judge Trapp,” said Assistant
District Attorney Kaycee Jones.
“By sentencing her to the
maximum term of probation and
requiring that she spend time in
jail, the court showed that this
type of crime will not be tolerated
and that adults will be held
responsible for betraying the trust
of children.”
