legislation of local interest

Elected to a four-year Sen-
ate term two years ago, Hard-
eman is running for re-elec-
tion in 1966 as a result of the
redistricting law enacted by
the last Legislature which
re-aligned the state's senat-
orial districts to comply with
the U. S. Supreme Court’s
“one man, one vote” decision.
The 25th District includes
15 of its previous 20 counties:
Brewster, Crane, Crockett,
Edwards, Irion, Jeff Davis,
Pecos, Presidio, Reagan, Tom
Green, Schleicher, Sutton,
Terrell, Upton and Val Verde.
