I "DEVIL’S CANYON"
The lust and brutality, the love
and sacrifice of the people who
helped to write one of the most
thrilling pages In the history of
the Last Frontier, and especially
'of a woman outlaw and 500 dea-
1 perate men who were caged up
i with her In a desert outpost, Is
pictured with full dramatic power
i In "Devil's Canyon," which comes
to the Taylor Theatre Sunday.
Presented by Howard Hughes
and photographed In Technicolor,
this RKO Radio production co-
stars Stephen McNally and Arthur
Hunnlcutt. Prominent In the large
supporting cast are Robert Keith,
Jay C. Fllppen, Oeorge J. Lewis
and James Bell.
The story, frankly fictional but
based upon Incidents which oc-
curred In Arizona Territory Just
prior to the turn of the century
and which are well known to his-
torians, deals with the horrors
and heartbreaks that befell a
notorious but beautiful gun-
woman, a former U S. Marshal
and a killer-crazy outlaw This
strange triangular romance re-
solves itself In a thrilling and
spectacular climax.
"Devil's Canyon” was produced
by Edmund Oralnger and directed
by Alfred Werker from a screen-
play by Fredrick Hazlltt Brennan
