CHAPTER CIX.
An Act to amend an Act entitled "An Act to establish a Penal
Code," approved August 26th, 1856.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Legislatire of the State of
Texas, That an Act entitled "An Act to establish a Penal Code,'
approved 26th August, 1856, be so amended that an additional article
be inserted, to be numbered and read as follows:
"'13a. If any person shall wilfully use, or knowingly permit
to rnn at large, upon the range off of his own premises, any horse,
mare, gelding, mule, jack, jennet, or colt, diseased with glanders,
he shall be fined in the sum of not less than twenty-five dollars, nor
more than two hundred dollars, or be confined in the county jail
fir not less than ten days, nor more than three months."
Approved November 8, 1866.
CHAPTER CX.
An Act Supplementary to an Act entitled an Act to require the
Judge of the Fourteenth Judicial District to hold a Special Term
of the District Court of Bexar County, approved November 1st.
1866.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Texas, That said court shall only be held for the disposition of the
criminal business of said court.
