in charge was two thousand visitors
there were only three cases before the

Mibunderstanding of action brought it
about and when explained was made

The following is the best we
have seen against loafing yet taken
from the Home Circle Column of
RuEk Prees Journal
It is wicked to loaf Every-
man is created for a purpose and
he has no right to shirk that re-
sponsibility If you have friends
or money that simply increases
your responsibility No man haB
a right to loaf Nothing can be
humiliating to a parent than to
know that his son is a confirmed
loafer a mere blank absorbing
his living from the toil of other
hands and creating nothing No
sensible young lady will allow a
confii tried street loafer to enter her
company No able bodied strong
minded person ever wanted work
who was unable to find it
There ib always plenty of work
to do If you cant get paid for
your labor go and work for noth
ing it will be better for you and
when you have fully demonstrated
that you can easily find a paying
job The man or boy who is con-
tent to live like a drone bee spong-
ing off the others should be forc-
ed on his own resources and com-
pelled to swim or sink Twould

M W T Atkins
Secretary Commercial Club
Jefferson Texas
Dear Sir All arrangements have
beeu completed for the establishment
of a large four story peanut factory at
Cenison Texas by the Texas Nut Com
pany Contract Has been let for the
building and same will be ready for oc-
cupancy about September 1st
These people are in position to handle
both local and carload shipments of
peanuts They especially want the
Spanish variety This Company can
handle in the neighborhood of a thous-
and bushels per day In other words
they are inposition to handle almost
the entire crop of Texas
We are advised the prices will range
from GDc to 100 per bushel figuring
30 pdunds to the bushel Of course the
price will be governed by the markets
from time to time We especially de
sire to enlist your cooperation in inter-
esting the farmers in growing peanuts
as they now hne assurance of good
markets I
Secretary C Wilbur Coons of the
Denison Board of Trade has recently
issued a booklet treating upon the pea
nut industry which will be valuable to
your growers afod he will be glad to
furnish any one with a copy who will
apply This I am sure villi be helpful
to the growers who do not thoroughly
understand the growing and handling
of the peanut crop in a commercial way
I would appreciate it very much if
you will consult with your farmers and
citizens and give us the names of those
who are interested in the growing of
nuts for the market The Texas Nut
Company will be glad to employ some
one in each town to do the buying for
them and if j ou can recommend some
reliable person we would appreciate it
Will you kindly take this matter up
and advise us as early as possible along
the lines suggested Weepecially want
a list of peanut growers as early as pos-
sible and if you can give us any idea as
to the probable amount of peanuts to be
shipped from your city we would be
glad to have it
Yours truly
